April 11--Phil Jackson, Elena Delle Donne and several other sports stars share their impressions of Kobe Bryant in a new video by Nike.
"If you're not cheering for him, you're going to have to hate him because he's killing your team," says Delle Donne, the Chicago Sky forward and WNBA MVP.
"I think he relishes being villified by fans of the other team," adds Jackson, the former Bulls and Lakers coach.
Tiger Woods, Clay Matthews, Serena Williams, LeBron James and Rob Gronkowski are among several other athletes who offer their thoughts on Bryant's career and fans' love-hate relationship with the retiring Lakers legend.
Nike's "Mamba Day" video tribute comes days before Bryant is set to play the final game of his 19-year career Wednesday against the Utah Jazz.
As fellow athletes give one-word descriptions of Bryant, such as "obsessive" and "fearless," longtime Western Conference rival Kevin Durant chimes in with his own parting word: Let's just say it's a more colorful version of "jerk."
