Jan. 20--Could former USC coach Lane Kiffin be on the move again?
Kiffin, Alabama's offensive coordinator, reportedly is a top candidate for the San Francisco 49ers' offensive coordinator job.
Alabama Coach Nick Saban addressed the issue Tuesday during an appearance at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala.
"Guys work hard so that they can get opportunities," Saban told reporters, "and if there are better opportunities and serve them better professionally, we're very supportive.... I know Lane is committed to us right now and he's doing the best he can to help us recruit and do the things that we need to do to have a better team next year, and we're hopeful that that will continue."
Kiffin helped Alabama reach a College Football Playoff semifinal.
The Crimson Tide lost to eventual champion Ohio State in the Sugar Bowl.
