May 06--Niall Horan doesn't play on the pro golf tour, but it's starting to feel that way.
The pop singer of One Direction fame caddied for top-ranked Rory McIlroy during the par-3 contest before the Masters last month.
Now, Horan will play beside McIlroy in the pro-am before the upcoming BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth.
"I'll probably be more nervous than in front of thousands with [One Direction]," he was quoted as saying in a BBC report. "I'm hoping Rory will give me a few tips on calming the nerves."
Young fans cheered Horan at Augusta National, where he tripped over McIlroy's bag at one point and took a swing from a tee, plunking his shot in the water.
McIlroy, who will appear on stage with One Direction at some point in the near future, said they "had a good fun together."
