Feb. 24--Broadway In Chicago has booked a new tour of "The Phantom of the Opera" that will open for a limited run next December. Andrew Lloyd Webber's mega-hit, still playing in London and on Broadway, follows a mysterious man who lurks beneath the Paris Opera House and the young opera star with whom he falls in love.
The NETworks tour, presented by Cameron Mackintosh, is directed by Laurence Connor, who directed the currently-running Broadway productions of "Les Miserables" and "School of Rock."
"The Phantom of the Opera" runs Dec. 14, 2016 -- Jan. 8 2017 at the Cadillac Palace Theatre, 151 W. Randolph St.
