BRIEF: New Andrew Zimmern web series includes trip to Chicago

May 03--Renaissance Hotels is launching a new web series Tuesday with "Bizarre Foods" host Andrew Zimmern that features a culinary visit to Chicago.

On "The Navigator's Table," Zimmern hosts and cooks a dinner of tomato aspic, sea urchin and grilled octopus at the Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel while discussing favorite Chicago food spots with his guests.

Food and Wine publisher Christina Grdovic, restaurateur Billy Dec, Hungry Social owner Kara Lichtenstein, Boka chef Lee Wolen and Tribune food reporter Louisa Chu weigh in with their picks.

The Chicago episodes, filmed in August, are scheduled to premiere Tuesday and Thursday on renhotels.com and the hotel chain's YouTube channel. Zimmern also visits Nashville and New York as part of the series.
