BRIEF: NBA keeps it simple with All-Star Game uniforms

Dec. 02--No awkward symbol of city or regional pride, such as a Fleur-de-lis or cactus. No futuristic lettering. No garish clash of bright colors. The NBA opted for understated with the design of the 2015 All-Star Game uniform, which the league and apparel maker Adidas unveiled on Tuesday.

The 64th annual game will be played Feb. 15 at Madison Square Garden.

The main distinguishing detail about this season's jerseys are the five distinct stars along the side, each representing one of the five boroughs of the host city, New York. For the first time, the backs of the jerseys will bear the first and last names of players.
