BRIEF: MUST SEE: Notre Dame's Jerian Grant with a monster dunk

Jan. 04--SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- It just seemed like he would keep going up.

That's what happened when Notre Dame guard Jerian Grant took flight as he sprinted toward the rim during the second half of Notre Dame's 83-76 victory in two overtimes Saturday over Georgia Tech.

Grant got the benfit a block call on the play after Yellow Jackets guard Tadric Jackson provided token defense and not only got called for the foul but got posterized in the process.

"Definitely higher than I've ever been," Grant said. "I didn't even know what to do up there. I just dunked it, seen the lane, dunk off, got a boost and dunked it."

Grant became a trending topic on Twitter as his dunk quickly went viral.

Six-foot-one Guard Demetrius Jackson had a flashy dunk of his own earlier this season when he slammed one in over Purdue 7-foot-2 center Isaac Haas in December.

"I think I'm going to have to give it to (Grant)," Jackson said when asked who had the better dunk.
