Feb. 25--The MTV show "Catfish," which exposes deceptive online relationships, is filming in the Chicago area Friday and Saturday, a show representative said.
A crew will film in Riverdale and Oak Lawn as show hosts Nev Schulman and Max Joseph try to determine if a 25-year-old woman's online lover is real. Paris said she met Tara in a chat room four years ago and they became best friends and "secret lovers," though they have never met in person, according to MTV.
The fifth season of "Catfish," a spin-off of the 2010 film of the same name, premiered this week. The show airs 9 p.m. Wednesdays.
The Chicago-area episode is expected to air in May.
