Dec. 28--A motorcyclist was seriously hurt in a crash early Monday morning on the Kennedy Expressway on the Northwest Side.
The single-vehicle accident happened around 4:20 a.m. in the local inbound lanes of Interstate 90/94 near Montrose Avenue, according to the Illinois State Police.
The motorcyclist, whose age and sex were not immediately available, was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center with serious injuries, according to state police.
As of 5:40 a.m., all local Kennedy inbound lanes in the area were closed as officials investigated. Traffic was being diverted to the inbound express lanes.
