Oct. 07--A motorcyclist died after colliding with a car on the Edens Expressway late Tuesday in north suburban Skokie, authorities said.
About 10:57 p.m., a 20-year-old man was driving a motorcycle in the northbound lanes on Interstate 94 when he collided with a car near the Old Orchard Road exit, said Illinois State Police Sgt. Patrick Manno.
The man was taken to Evanston Hospital, where he later died, Manno said. No one else was injured in the accident, and police are still investigating the cause.
The interstate's northbound lanes fully reopened around 4:30 a.m., police said.
