BRIEF: Monday's recap: White Sox 9, Angels 4

March 08--The White Sox had 15 hits for the second time in three days, pounding the Angels 9-4 on Monday at Tempe Diablo Stadium. They've scored 30 runs in their first six games and won three straight.

At the plate

The Sox cranked out three more home runs -- by Dioner Navarro, Steve Lombardozzi and Matt Davidson -- giving them 10 from 10 players. Jose Abreu went 3-for-3 and has a 1.445 OPS.

On the mound

Starter Erik Johnson allowed four runs on three hits and two walks over three innings before the bullpen tossed six scoreless innings.

In the field

Pitcher Scott Carroll committed the first Sox error of the spring.

On the bases

Two baserunners were thrown out, leaving the Sox 1-for-7 in stolen-base attempts.
