March 17--The summary
Carlos Rodon was wild early but stiffened up the final two innings, allowing two runs with three strikeouts and two walks over three innings. But two errors by Matt Davidson led to a four-run eighth and the White Sox fell 6-2 to the Diamondbacks on Monday.
At the plate
Micah Johnson reached twice on a hit and a walk and stole his first base. Tyler Saladino homered.
On the mound
Tyler Danish came out of the game after being hit in the arm by a line drive. He has a bruised right triceps but should be fine, the Sox said.
In the field
Davidson let a grounder go through him at third base for an error and committed a throwing error on a bunt the next play.
