BRIEF: Missing woman, granddaughter located

Feb. 02--A woman and her 1-year-old granddaughter have been found safe after they were reported missing Monday morning, police said.

The woman, 49, took the girl from a home in the 3200 block of West Walnut at about 8 a.m. Monday, according to a police news release. They were last seen near the 3000 block of West Fulton Street.

Police announced early Tuesday morning that the two had been located.
