Nov. 29--Chicago police have issued a missing person alert for a 16-year-old girl who left her home earlier this month, police said.
Nicole "Cole" Mahon was last seen at her home on the 5000 block of South Leamington Avenue on Nov. 17, police said.
The girl is described as black, with a medium complexion, 5 feet 1 inch and weighing 123 pounds, police said.
She was last seen wearing a pink colored North Face hooded sweatshirt with blue and white writing. She also was wearing purple and white gym shoes. She may also be wearing gray colored moccasins and maybe carrying a black and white floral patterned book bag, according to the alert.
She is known to frequent the Gage Park neighborhood in Chicago, police said.
