BRIEF: Missing man with Alzheimer's found

April 21--A 68-year-old man with Alzheimer's disease who went missing from South Austin on Wednesday afternoon has been found, police said.

David L. Daniels was last seen at about 3:30 p.m. in the 5300 block of West Ferdinand Avenue. He walked out of his home on his own without notifying anyone, and did not take his wallet, phone or identification.

Police announced early Thursday that Daniels has been found and his family has been notified.
