BRIEF: Missing Glendale Heights man found safe

UPDATE--Alberto Rivera, a Glendale Heights man who had been missing since last Thursday, was found safely Sunday when he arrived at relative's home, police said. Rivera has been reunited with his family.

A man who has autism went missing in west suburban Glendale Heights on Thursday, police said.

Alberto Rivera, 30, walked away from his home in the 1500 block of Golfview Drive sometime Thursday morning, according to a statement from the Glendale Heights Police Department.

Rivera was last seen wearing blue jeans and a brown camouflage jacket.

Anyone with information about Rivera's whereabouts should call the Glendale Heights Police Department at (630) 260-6070.
