Dec. 02--At least two people suffered minor injuries when a CTA bus was rear-ended by a car in the Austin neighborhood Monday afternoon, authorities said.
A No. 85/Central bus was headed north on Central Avenue near Chicago Avenue about 1:30 p.m. when it was rear-ended by a car, said CTA spokeswoman Ibis Antongiorgi. By about 2 p.m., minor injuries to two people, including the bus driver, had been reported to the CTA, she said.
Only one person had been taken to the hospital from the scene by about 2 p.m., Fire Department spokesman Will Knight said.
