Feb. 07--As the Bulls avoided serious news with Jimmy Butler's MRI exam on his left knee, they also returned Mike Dunleavy to the lineup for the first time this season.
Dunleavy has yet to play following offseason back surgery, but the Bulls listed him as available for Saturday's game against the Timberwolves.
Meanwhile, the MRI exam on Butler's left knee injury confirmed a strain, according to the Bulls.
Butler will miss at least Saturday's game against the Timberwolves and very likely more games. The team said in its release that "the timeline for his return to play will be determined by further evaluation in Chicago and his response to treatment."
Butler suffered the injury in the second quarter of the Bulls' loss to the Nuggets on Friday night in Denver.
Butler is scheduled to appear in his second straight All-Star game next weekend in Toronto.
The Bulls also said Pau Gasol is available to play after missing last game with a sore left hand.
