May 24--PHOENIX -- Hector Rondon's relief woes aren't the only issue currently facing the Chicago Cubs.
The offense is only 4-for-42 with runners in position, and they hope to correct that Saturday night when they face the Arizona Diamondbacks and hard-throwing Rubby De La Rosa.
Catcher Miguel Montero returns to the starting lineup, as does left fielder Chris Coghlan. Montero is batting .269 with runners in scoring position, an obvious improvement over the .111 mark by backup catcher David Ross.
Coghlan is batting only .120 with runners in scoring position, but he has held his own against some of the hardest throwers in the National League. Coghlan ripped a home run off San Diego closer Craig Kimbrel in the ninth inning of Tuesday's game.
