BRIEF: Michael Jordan, Jerry Reinsdorf rank among Forbes' billionaires

March 01--Michael Jordan is synonymous with 23, arguably as lofty a number as there is in sports, but it could take quite a while for No. 1,577 to reach that level on the billionaire's list Forbes announced Tuesday.

White Sox and Bulls chairman Jerry Reinsdorf's fortune was valued at $1.3 billion, good for 1,367 in Forbes' rankings and up 48 spots from last year.

The financial magazine estimates Jordan is worth more than $1.1 billion, placing him 1,577th among the 1,810 richest people in the world. The Bulls legend and Charlotte Hornets owner first made the billionaires list last year.

Last month, Forbes named Jordan the most influential minority in sports from a list of 25.
