Oct. 08--A man was struck and killed by a Union Pacific North Line train as he walked along the tracks just south of Kenosha, Wis. Wednesday evening, authorities said.
The engineer saw the 36-year-old man walking north along the tracks around 5:35 p.m. but could not stop in time, officials said.
The train, No. 335 out of Chicago, was scheduled to arrive in Kenosha at 5:39 p.m., according to Metra's website.
