BRIEF: Mentally disabled woman missing from Albany Park

Dec. 05--Police are asking for the public's help locating a woman who has a limited mental capacity, and went missing Thursday afternoon from the city's Albany Park neighborhood.

Julia Pagan, 47, left her home on the 4700 block of North Troy Street about 3 p.m. to go to the store but did not return, police said.

Police said Pagan, who likes to ride public transportation, was last seen wearing a purple knit hat, purple jacket, blue scarf, black jeans and black Reebok gym shoes.

She is described as a Hispanic woman with an olive complexion, brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5 feet tall and weighs about 167 pounds, police said.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts should contact the Area North Special Victims Unit at 312-744-8200.
