July 13--American Theater Company said Monday it will hold a public memorial for its former artistic director, PJ Paparelli, who died following an automobile accident in Scotland in May.
The 90-minute memorial will be held at the Athenaeum Theatre, 2936 N. Southport Ave., on July 28 at 8 p.m. Doors will open at 7 p.m. A variety of speakers will reflect on Paparelli's work and legacy, and ATC's Youth Ensemble and former cast members from some of Paparelli's most notable productions will perform.
