BRIEF: Meeting to focus on road projects on Aurora's Far East Side

April 19--Road construction projects on the Far East Side of Aurora will be the focus of a public meeting Thursday.

The city of Aurora, in conjunction with 8th Ward Alderman Rick Mervine, will hold a construction update meeting from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at Village Baptist Church, 515 Frontenac St.

The meeting will update residents in an informal setting on multi-year and other large-scale road construction projects currently underway on Aurora's Far East Side, city officials said.

Mervine and city staff will be on hand to discuss the follow road construction projects: Ogden Avenue overpass construction, Eola Road widening project, Kautz Road and Montgomery Road multi-use paths, Farnsworth Avenue overpass reconstruction, Farnsworth and Sheffer Road water main work and 2016 road resurfacing projects.
