BRIEF: Mechanical problems affecting Metra trains on Milwaukee District, Heritage Corridor

Jan. 28--Mechanical problems caused Metra to cancel two trains early Wednesday morning.

Train 914 on Metra's Heritage Corridor line, scheduled to depart from Joliet for Chicago at 5:45 a.m., was canceled, according to a Metra service alert. Train 916, scheduled to depart at 6:40 a.m., would accomodate passengers.

Train 2212 on Metra's Milwaukee District West Line, scheduled to depart from Roselle for Chicago at 6:54 a.m., was also canceled due to mechanical issues, according to an alert.

Train 2214 would pick up passengers from Roselle through Franklin Park, and Train 104 on the North Central line would accommodate passengers from River Grove into Chicago, according to the alert.
