June 02--Young aspiring chefs can apply to compete on "MasterChef Junior" at a casting call this month in Chicago.
The audition for Season 6 is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 25 at Doubletree Chicago, 300 E. Ohio St.
Casting producers for the Fox cooking competition are looking for cooks ages 8-13. Potential contestants must be at least 8 years old as of Aug. 1, 2017.
Season 4 winner Addison Osta Smith, of River Forest, was the first female and youngest champion of the competition, which aired that finale in January.
