BRIEF: 'Marvel Experience' tour hits Chicago this summer

May 07--This may be the closest anyone gets to being an actual superhero. The "Marvel Experience" tour, an interactive indoor theme park for Marvel comic book fans, will be in Chicago this summer, tour operators announced Thursday.

Fans can climb a wall like Spider-Man and interact with superheroes including Iron Man, Captain America and Thor during the show, due to set up at McCormick Place July 11-Aug. 2. Running 1 1/2 to two hours and spanning three domes, the experience also features a simulator that equips participants with superhero-like powers to battle villains, as well as a "4-D" motion ride.

Tickets, which range from $25 to $45 based on the show day, are scheduled to go on sale through Ticketmaster Tuesday.

The show is also visiting Philadelphia, New York and St. Louis this summer. It has previously been in San Diego, Dallas and the Phoenix area.
