Nov. 30--The Marriott Theatre has announced casting for the limited run of "Spring Awakening."
The production stars Patrick Rooney as Melchior, Ben Barker as Moritz and Eliza Palasz as Wendla, with Betsy Stewart as Ilse, Hollis Resnik as Adult Women, Kevin Gudahl as Adult Men, Brian Bohr as Hanschen, Nick Graffanga as Ernst, Nate Lewellyn as Otto, Liam Quealy as Georg, Adhana Cemone Reid as Martha, Elizabeth Stenholt as Thea and Tiffany Tatreau as Anna. The cast also incudes Caleb Baze, Anna Blanchard, Derek Hasenstab, Callie Johnson and Garrett Lutz.
Adapted from Frank Wedekind's 1891 play, "Spring Awakening" tells the coming-of-age story of German teenagers with a pop-rock score by Duncan Sheik. As previously announced, Marriott artistic director Aaron Thielen will direct.
"Spring Awakening" runs Jan. 14 -- 31 at the Marriott Theatre, 10 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire.
