BRIEF: 'Married at First Sight' holding 2 casting calls in Chicago

March 16--"Married at First Sight," an FYI series that pairs strangers for marriage, is holding two casting calls in Chicago on Wednesday to meet singles for the show's upcoming Chicago-set season.

Casting directors are scheduled to meet potential applicants from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Connie's Pizza, 1030 N. State St.; and at a 7 p.m. speed dating event at Hard Water Bar and Grill, 7545 N. Clark St.

Producers are looking for singles who appear to be between 25 and 40 years old. Application information is available at marriedatfirstsight.castingcrane.com.

A panel of specialists pairs up six castmates, who meet on their wedding day. The show follows the three couples as they go on their honeymoon and merge their lives. They must decide if they will stay together after six weeks.

The series, which premiered in 2014, has filmed in New York and Atlanta. The fourth season is slated for the Miami area.
