BRIEF: 'Married at First Sight' casting Chicagoans to marry strangers

March 03--"Married at First Sight" casting producers will be in the Chicago area this month to search for six local people willing to marry strangers and have the process documented on television for the show's upcoming Chicago-set season.

A panel that includes a clinical psychologist, sexologist, sociologist and humanist chaplain determine the couples, who do not meet until the wedding day.

The show follows the couples through the honeymoon and move-in process. After six weeks, the pairs must decide if they will stay together.

Casting producers are looking for courageous singles who appear to be between 25 and 40 years old. They should be ready for a committed relationship. More information is available at marriedatfirstsight.castingcrane.com.

The FYI series, which premiered in 2014, wrapped up its third season Tuesday, with a six-month check-in on the couples scheduled to air 8 p.m. Tuesday.

The show has filmed in New York and Atlanta.
