BRIEF: Mark Roberts brings 'New Country' to The Den

Dec. 17--Stand-up comedian and writer Mark Roberts will bring his play "New Country" to Chicago in February 2016.

Ian Streicher will direct Roberts' comedy about a country star's bachelor party gone wrong. Roberts is set to star as Uncle Jim. The cast also includes Michael Monroe Goodman, Frank Nall, Will Clinger, Colter O'Ryan Smith and Sarah Lemp.

Roberts is best known for his writing work on TV shows "Two and a Half Men" and "Mike and Molly."

"New Country" runs Feb. 20 through May 14 at The Den Theatre, 1333 N. Milwaukee Ave.
