Dec. 02--A man was wounded Monday afternoon in a shooting on the South Side in the city's West Woodlawn neighborhood, said officials.
The shooting happened shortly before 2:30 p.m. on the 700 block of East 67th Street, said Officer Thomas Sweeney, a Chicago Police Department spokesman, citing preliminary reports.
The 20-year-old suffered a wound to his left leg and was taken to Stroger Hospital in fair condition, Sweeney said.
No one was in custody for the shooting and police were investigating.
