BRIEF: Man wounded in South Side shooting

Feb. 29--A man was shot in the West Englewood neighborhood Sunday afternoon, according to police.

He was shot about 2:50 p.m. in the 6700 block of South Claremont Avenue, police said.

Paramedics took the man, age 20, to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

No one is in custody. Check back for more information.
