Oct. 28--Someone tried to lure a girl into a car in the Cragin neighborhood Monday afternoon, according to police.
The girl was in the 3000 block of North Cicero Avenue about 4:20 p.m. when a white man in his 50s or 60s pulled along side and started whistling and blowing kisses at the girl.
He gestured for the girl to come to his car and the girl fled to a nearby business and called her mom, who called police.
Police said the man had white hair that was parted in the middle, white eyebrows and a white mustache and was of a medium build.
He drove a maroon car, possibly a Dodge Neon, police said.
