Nov. 25--A man was shot during a robbery and a male teen walked into a hospital with gunshot wounds Monday, police said.
Around 10:55 a.m., a man suffered a graze wound to his face when he followed two men who robbed him in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood, police said.
The men came up to the victim in the 6100 block of South Albany Avenue and said they were robbing him, Chicago police spokeswoman Officer Ana Pacheco said.
The robbers forced the man to go to his home, then took off with items they stole from him, police said. Authorities said the victim followed the robbers and one fired a shot at him, giving the man a graze wound to the face.
The man declined to be taken to a hospital, police said.
Police News Affairs did not have information on whether the suspect showed a gun during the robbery.
No one was in custody, and Area Central detectives were investigating.
Later Monday afternoon, a male teen walked into a hospital with gunshot wounds he said he received Saturday night on the city's Far South Side, police said.
The 17-year-old told police he was shot between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Saturday in the 10000 block of South Prairie Avenue in the Rosemoor neighborhood, said Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines.
The teen suffered gunshot wounds to both arms and buttocks and got a graze wound to the head, Gaines said.
He was listed in good condition at University of Chicago Medical Center, Gaines said.
No additional information about the shooting was immediately available.
