BRIEF: Man stabbed in Hermosa

Dec. 18--A man was hospitalized early Thursday after he was stabbed during an argument on the city's Northwest Side.

The man was stabbed about 2:15 a.m. in the 2200 block of North Keystone Avenue in the Hermosa neighborhood, said Officer Ron Gaines, a police spokesman.

Police said the 21-year-old man got into a verbal argument with a friend who then stabbed him. The man walked into Norwegian American Hospital and was later transported to John H. Stroger Hospital where his condition was stabilized, police said.

As of early Thursday, no one was in custody in connection with the stabbing.
