BRIEF: Man stabbed during domestic incident in Englewood

May 07--A 42-year-old man was injured after he was stabbed in a domestic-related incident early Thursday morning in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side, police said.

The man was outside in the 6300 block of South Wood Street when he was stabbed in the chest around 1:12 a.m., said Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines.

The man was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County where his condition stabilized, Gaines said.

No one is in custody as a result of the incident, and police are still investigating.
