The victim and his two friends were confronted in a parking lot by four men after leaving the bar. One of the four men pulled a gun and shot the victim in the chest. The two friends were not injured.
The four men fled in a silver-colored Nissan, Lopez said.
Investigators are trying to determine a motive and whether the dispute may have begun inside the bar and escalated outside, Lopez said.
