BRIEF: Man shot to death over weekend is identified

Oct. 21--The identity of a man shot to death early Sunday in the Rosemoor neighborhood has been released.

Dwayne Richardson, 22, was shot in the 10600 block of South Prairie Avenue and pronounced dead at 2:50 a.m. Sunday, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.

The shooting took place about 2 a.m. Sunday, when people approached and fired as Richardson and another man pulled away from a curb in a car.

Richardson, the driver, was shot in the upper back and pronounced dead on the scene. A 19-year-old man was shot in the knee and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized.

No one was in custody in the killing.
