Jan. 28--A man shot to death in the South Austin neighborhood on the West Side has been identified, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
Cory D. Brown, 33, was shot to death on Leamington Avenue on the first block south of Madison Street about 4 p.m. Tuesday, according to authorities.
He lived in the 5000 block of West Washington Boulevard, according to the medical examiner's office.
He was pronounced dead at Stroger Hospital at 4:40 p.m.
No one is in custody, and detectives are investigating.
