BRIEF: Man shot in Little Village

Feb. 18--A man was seriously injured in a shooting Tuesday evening in the Little Village neighborhood, police said.

The 33-year-old man was shot in the abdomen and back in the 2700 block of South Tripp Avenue at 6:37 p.m., said Chicago police spokesman Veejay Zala.

The man was taken in serious condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, Zala said.

No one is in custody.
