BRIEF: Man leads Glendale police on short vehicle pursuit that ends in car crash, rollover

Feb. 29--A reputed gang member was arrested after leading police on a pursuit Saturday night that ended when he crashed into a parked car, causing his vehicle to roll over, police said.

Just before 9 p.m., a Glendale police officer spotted 32-year-old Daniel Lachnit, of Lancaster, near Allen Avenue and Lake Street, recognizing him as a man suspected of vandalism and assaulting his ex-girlfriend, said Glendale Police Sgt. Robert William.
