April 17--A 31-year-old man was pronounced dead after he was involved in a motorcycle crash Saturday morning on the Eisenhower Expressway, according to Illinois State Police officials.
The accident happened at 8:40 a.m. on the westbound lanes near the Kostner Avenue exit, according to police.
The single-vehicle crash happened when the motorcyclist struck the left wall, police said. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Westbound lanes were closed at Kostner until 1 p.m., police said.
