May 30--A 45-year-old man was killed in a car crash early Saturday in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side, police said.
About 1:55 a.m., a vehicle struck a viaduct in the 400 block of West 47th Street, said Chicago police spokeswoman Officer Janel Sedevic.
Police officers discovered the man unresponsive on the scene. He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Sedevic said.
No other information was immediately available about the accident.
