March 02--A south suburban man died in Hammond, Ind., early Wednesday after being shot in Burnham, authorities said.
Vincent Means, 32, of the first block of Paxton Street in Burnham, was shot in that town near the intersection of State and Calhoun streets, according to the Lake County (Ind.) Coroner's office.
He went to Saint Margaret Hospital in Hammond, Ind., and he was declared dead just after 2 a.m. Wednesday.
Information about the circumstances of the shooting were not immediately available.
