BRIEF: Man injured in West Side stabbing

Jan. 24--A 22-year-old man was wounded in a stabbing in the Heart of Chicago neighborhood on the West Side early Saturday, police said.

The man was outside in the 2000 block of West Coulter Street around 1:30 a.m. when he was stabbed by an unknown suspect in the arm and back, said Chicago police spokeswoman Officer Janel Sedevic.

The man was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital, Sedevic said.

His condition and other details about the incident were not immediately available.
