June 07--A 20-year-old man was stabbed early Sunday morning on the Near West Side in the city's Pilsen neighborhood.
Preliminary information said the stabbing happened shortly before 5 a.m. on the 1800 block of South May Street, police said.
The victim suffered a wound to the abdomen and was taken to the University of Illinois Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
No one was in custody for the attack, and police were investigating.
