BRIEF: Man found stabbed to death inside a Garden Grove tea house

Nov. 14--A cleaning man was found stabbed to death Friday morning inside a tea house in Garden Grove.

A woman arriving for work at the Volcano Tea House in the 10100 block of Garden Grove Boulevard told police she saw a man waving at her to approach, according to Lt. Ben Stauffer of the Garden Grove Police Department.

But, she told police, something told her not to enter the tea house, where she worked.

Instead, she locked the door and called police.

By the time officers arrived about 11:01 a.m., they found the man as well as the dead cleaner inside the business, Stauffer said.

The worker had been hired to clean the tea house. Police said they were unsure why the second man was there.

The man, who police have not identified, was taken into custody, he said. The name of the stabbing victim was not released.

Police say "it is unclear what happened inside the business."
