Dec. 25--A 50-year-old man was found with severe stab wounds in Chicago's West Garfield Park neighborhood early Christmas morning, police said.
The man was discovered about 5:10 a.m. Friday inside a car that had crashed into a pole in the 4000 block of West Madison Street. He had been stabbed in the chest and arm, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago police spokesman, and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition.
No information was immediately available about the circumstances of the stabbing.
