Nov. 09--A 29-year-old man has died after being found stabbed multiple times early Sunday morning in the city's Near North neighborhood, said police.
Officers responded about 2:20 a.m. to a call of an unresponsive man found lying on the sidewalk in the 800 block of North Orleans Street, said Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Jose Estrada.
When officers and paramedics arrived, they discovered that the man had been stabbed multiple times in his back. He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, said Estrada.
As of 10:45 a.m., no one was in custody for the fatal attack and police were investigating.
